Wickedly Spirited Giveaway

I looked at the calendar and suddenly realized it is SEPTEMBER. (Seriously, how the heck did that happen?) And that means that the next Baba Yaga novella, Wickedly Spirited, is coming out in less than three weeks!

Wickedly Spirited is the story of Jazz, the teen who Bella met in WICKEDLY POWERFUL, the third novel. (You read that one, right?)
Jazz, the powerfully magical teen first introduced in Wickedly Powerful, is now being trained as a Baba Yaga—and she’s determined to free the Broken Riders herself.

Jazz had a rough life before meeting her guardian, and she knows she’s lucky that Bella is training her to be a Baba Yaga. But the gifted young witch is frustrated by the slow pace of her lessons. Jazz knows she’s capable of even greater magic, and she wants nothing more than to find a spell that will give the Riders back the immortality they lost.

With the reluctant assistance of Bella’s dragon-turned-cat Koshka, Jazz travels to the Otherworld to get the necessary ingredients to perform the spell. A willful young witch, dangerous magic, and one powerful wish—what could possibly go wrong?
I had so much fun writing Jazz's story--she is, as the title says, spirited, and a completely unconventional Baba Yaga in training. And the novella features Bella's Chudo Yudo, Koshka, the dragon who is disguised as a giant Norwegian Forest cat. So obviously, this giveaway had to include a stuffed cat. Plus a signed copy of WICKEDLY POWERFUL, in case for some bizarre reason you haven't read it yet. And a broom pen, just because.

So cute!

Magic the Cat approves.
As always, all you have to do to enter is fill in the Rafflecopter form (and you can take credit for following me on Twitter and things like that if you've already done them). Of course, I hope that you will order the novella, because, really, Magic likes to eat. But also, because this is probably the last Baba Yaga novella, so you know you want to. And as always, I really appreciate you spreading the word!

Upcoming Release Schedule and a Giveaway!

So I've been hard at work on The Book of Cat Magic for Llewellyn (my 11th book for them, not counting the tarot deck!) and hope to finish it today. Another couple of days to polish it up, then it will be off to my beloved editor Elysia, and I will be starting work on another novel.

In the meanwhile, I've also been working on A Sekrit Project, which I'm hoping to be able to announce in the next week or so. The folks who get my newsletter will find out about it first, so if you're not signed up yet, you can use the form at the top left of the page to do so. I only send out 4-6 newsletters a year, so don't worry about getting too much mail... (And sometimes I even do giveaways for my newsletter people only.)

I'm prepping to go to the RWA (Romance Writers of America) National Convention at the end of this month. This year it is being held in Orlando, Florida. I'll get to meet up with my agent and lots of author pals I rarely see, so it should be fun. Anyone else going to be there?

More importantly, I now have release dates and covers for all the upcoming books! I thought I'd share them with you so you can start planning which ones you are going to buy... (Subtle hint.)

This fall is going to be busy!

First up, we have the next Baba Yaga novella, Wickedly Spirited. This one features Jazz, the teen that Bella rescued in WICKEDLY POWERFUL (the 3rd Baba Yaga novel). Wickedly Spirited comes out on September 19th--it seems like a long way away, but it is only 2 1/2 months from now! If you haven't read WICKEDLY POWERFUL yet, you've still got time to catch up. (I'm going to help out with that, as you'll see.) And it's only $1.99!

I love this cover!
Next up after that will be my 10th Llewellyn book, A YEAR AND A DAY OF EVERYDAY WITCHCRAFT, which will be out on October 8th. Lots of people seem to be excited about this one. (Not so sure the kitty on the cover is one of them...)

What do you think? Is he impressed? Or annoyed?
Then the book I can't wait to share with you--the second in the Rider series! DANGEROUSLY DIVINE is Gregori Sun's story, and will be out on November 28th. If you haven't read the first Rider book, DANGEROUSLY CHARMING, you still have a few months to catch up on that too.

Oh BOY, do I love this cover! Yum!
Feel free to run and preorder all of these. No, really, I'll wait.

Oh, you're back? Okay, then I guess I'll reward you with a giveaway! I haven't done one for a while, so I thought I'd help out those of you who haven't read WICKEDLY POWERFUL yet, so you'll be ready when the novella comes out. Of course, if you already have the book, this way you'll have a signed copy, plus a cool new dragon friend. And some bookmarks, because who doesn't need more bookmarks?

Goodies!
As always, no purchase is necessary, and I'd love it if you'd spread the word. Pretty please? *smooches*

COVER REVEAL! Wickedly Spirited

I'm so excited! I can finally share the cover up the upcoming Baba Yaga novella, WICKEDLY SPIRITED! The novella will be out September 19th, and features Bella's protege Jazz, who we first met in Wickedly Powerful. I had so much fun writing this one, and I hope you enjoy reading it. (It's only available as an eBook because of its length, but on the bright side, it is only $1.99!) The novella is up for preorder now. Just sayin'.

And with no further ado, here is the cover! Look, Koshka the dragon disguised as a giant Norwegian Forest Cat is on it too.

If you need to catch up with the Baba Yaga series, now is your chance! I'll be putting up a giveaway in the next couple of days...I haven't decided exactly what is going to be in it, but there will definitely be a signed copy of Wickedly Powerful. So be sure to check back.

Gratitude Giveaway and Year's End Summary

Well...this has been a year, hasn't it? Lots of good things, and lots of bad, alas. But in the end, I am still so grateful for all I have. And especially grateful for YOU, my friends, readers, and fans. So I'm doing one last giveaway this year for no reason other than to say thank you for taking this journey with me. Thank you for buying my books, and for putting up reviews (really, THANK YOU), and for generally spreading the word and being supportive. Y'all make the hard work worth it. So I'm doing this:

Carried away? Moi? Never.

So, here's this year in review--briefly, because otherwise we'll be here all day.
Good stuff:
Well, I had two books out, which is great. WICKEDLY POWERFUL was the third Baba Yaga novel, which was then followed by DANGEROUSLY CHARMING the first Rider novel.

BOOKS!
Got to go visit my friends in Connecticut, got visits from pal Bethany and her charming hubby Jarrod, and my stepdaughter Jenn, and FINALLY met long-time author pal Alex Bledsoe in person at Robercon (where I also got to hang out with the fabulous Tamora Pierce, which is always a joy).

Terry and Glenn in Connecticut

Jarrod, Bethany, and me

My kid and her two moms (no, not THAT kind of two moms)

Alex, me, and the fab Tammy
Plus, of course, the tarot deck is coming out any minute, so that might end up counting toward this year too.

Mind you, there was a lot of not great stuff too. I lost Mystic and Magic's mother Minerva in March (wow, that's a lot of M's). Had to rehome little Luna, because she couldn't adjust to the other cats (although she IS blissfully happy at her new house and I get to visit often). Angus was sick for months with an eye infection, then Mystic got seriously ill and almost died. (They both got better. That definitely counts toward the "good" column.) I seriously hurt my knee on the first of April, and it is still taking it's slow time recovering, and then I got shingles (which are brought on by stress, so I blame the election, plus all that other stuff...). Plus, you know, life.

Overall, I'd have to say it was a pretty tough year, where the not-so-great stuff often overwhelmed the great. But I survived and have hopes that next year will be better. And in the meanwhile, I still have a lot to be grateful for, including all of you. So thanks! And now, I'm going to do one last giveaway for the year, just because I can. Maybe it will finish off a few other people's years right.

Here's what we've got! A Fire tablet, a set of ALL FOUR BOOKS (signed, of course), winner's choice of one of three book cover notebooks, and a Deborah Blake calendar for 2017 plus a broom pen to write in it with. Four prizes, four winners. Woot!

No, Magic the Cat doesn't come with the prizes.

Winner gets his or her pick!

No, Angus doesn't come with the prize either. But his picture is in the calendar.
As always, all you have to do to enter is fill out the Rafflecopter form below. You get credit for anything you've already done, like following the blog, or signing up for my newsletter. And because it is my big end-of-year giveaway, I'm opening it up internationally. There is no purchase required, although of course, if you want to give ME a year's end present and buy one of my books, or put up a review for one you read, I won't tell you not to!

Good luck, thanks for everything, and happy holidays, whichever one you happen to celebrate.

Four Weeks to DANGEROUSLY CHARMING!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm starting to get a *little* bit excited about DANGEROUSLY CHARMING, the first book in the Rider series. It seems like it has taken forever, but now it is going to be out it four weeks! Of course, the Rider series is really a continuation/offshoot/spinoff of the Baba Yaga series, and while you could read it on its own, it will probably make a little more sense to you if you have read the first three Baba Yaga books:
 Wickedly Dangerous
 Wickedly Wonderful
 Wickedly Powerful
(Here's a hint..some thing happen in Wickedly Powerful that make a big difference in the Riders' stories...)

Dangerously Charming, as you might guess from the title, is all about the charming Mikhail Day. I know you want to find out what happens to him!

But just in case you haven't had a chance to read the first three Baba Yaga books, I'm going to do something drastic--and give away signed copies of ALL THREE to one lucky person. If the winner happens to have already read all the previous books (in which case, I love you), they can choose a signed Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of Dangerously Charming instead.

Ta da!
 So you can win these...

The Baba Yaga series
 Or this...

An ARC of the new book before it is even out! Don't you love that cover?
As usual, all you have to do is use the Rafflecopter form below. And yes, if you already follow the blog or have signed up for my newsletter, you still get credit for that.

Obviously, I would love it if you would pre-order the book (if you are a print reader, Amazon has the print version on sale!), and spread the word, and put up reviews of the Baba books if you read them and liked them. (If you hated them, really, don't bother. LOL) But you don't have to do any of those things. All you have to do is join me in jumping up and down and saying, "FOUR WEEKS! FOUR WEEKS!"

So tell me--have you read the Baba Yaga books?

Birthday Not-Celebration Giveaway!

So, today, April 28th, is my birthday, and I'm not really celebrating.

Don't get me wrong--I have nothing against birthdays. Birthdays are cool. Turning 56 is a little yawnnnnnn... but mostly, I'm just not doing anything in particular, because, well, me.

For instance, my friend John is coming over tonight for a BBQ and to help me out in the garden because my twisted knee is still, you know, twisted. We'll hang out, eat yummy food, and watch a movie. But it doesn't have anything to do with my birthday. We would have done it anyway.

And the closest I came to getting myself a present was to spend money redoing my driveway. Yes, it is distinctly possible I suck at this. (pictures of driveway to follow)

Which is why the closest I am going to come to an actual celebration of my birthday is by giving away stuff to y'all. Just because that's the way I roll. I asked on Facebook if I should do a giveaway with a VEILED MAGIC theme, or a WICKEDLY POWERFUL theme, or one focused on the upcoming first Rider book, DANGEROUSLY CHARMING
and it was a tie between Veiled Magic and Dangerously Charming. (Thanks. Jeez.)

So here is the prize pack:

Birthday giveaway!
The first few pieces of Dangerously Charming swag, including a notebook and a postcard magnet, plus another notebook and a tote bag for Veiled Magic, and a broom pen just because.

In case you were wondering what I wanted for my birthday (I know you were), I'd really love to get a few more reviews for Veiled Magic and Wickedly Powerful. So if you've read them, pretty please? Let everyone else know that you liked them?

And now, happy my birthday to you!

I Love Fairy Tales Giveaway

As you've probably figured out by now, I love modern retellings of old fairy tales. That's why I ended up writing the Baba Yaga series, based on an updated version of the old Russian Fairy tales of a sometime wicked/sometimes not witch. Of course, like all modern retellings, my version is a little bit different from the original.

Barbara, my modern Baba Yaga, complete with her dragon-disguised-as-a-dog

A rendition of the classic Baba Yaga, riding in her mortar, steered by a pestle. (Barbara's now looks like a BMW motorcycle)
I've been thinking* about just how much I love these kinds of stories lately because my lovely friend Sierra (also my research goddess) recommended a cool book by Naomi Novak, UPROOTED. This isn't an updated fairy tale at all, really, just a new one set in a Slavic world like the one the Baba Yagas come from. There is a poor peasant girl who turns out to have magic, a powerful magician named The Dragon, and, well, it's just wonderful.

You should read this.
I have so many fairy tales, both old and new, that I love. Jim C. Hines did a great series that put an entirely new spin on the traditional princesses, starting with The Stepsister Scheme. Robin McKinley has written a bunch of them. So I thought we'd spend a little time celebrating all of our favorites. Which means a fun giveaway, of course!
I've put together a prize pack including the winner's choice of one of my Baba Yaga books (Wickedly DangerousWickedly Wonderful, or Wickedly Powerful), a cute stuffed dragon, a 3D magnet that says "You say WICKED like it is a Bad Thing" (that one cracks me up), a Wicked Good Beer bottle opener (I found those on Cape Cod last summer and couldn't resist--they're magnetic too, so they can go right on the fridge), a broom pen, and some bookmarks and such. A fun fairy tale kinda giveaway, you might say.

Sorry, black cat not included. She was just supervising, as usual.
You can enter using the Rafflecopter form, and as always, you get extra points for doing the stuff that makes me really happy, like buying a new book or putting up a review of one of the ones you've read (it has to be a new review, but you can always copy an older one to a different place, like Goodreads). Or you can just leave a comment here, answering this question:

What is your favorite modern or classic fairy tale?

I can't wait to see what you all have to say!

*This is what happens when I'm laid up with a twisted knee.

The Woman in the Fire Tower (Giveaway)

WICKEDLY POWERFUL has been out for about a month now, and it seems to be doing pretty well (yay, and thanks to everyone who has bought a copy!). I'd actually meant to blog about some of my inspirations for the book before this, but, well...stuff happened.

But I'm finally getting around to it, because I thought you'd like to meet my friend Kathy, the real woman in the fire tower. As you know if you've read the book, my third Baba Yaga, Bella, gets involved with a former Hotshots firefighter, Sam, who now works in a fire tower in Wyoming. What you might not know (unless you read the dedication and acknowledgments pages at the beginning of the book) is that my inspiration for Sam come from someone I actually know.

This is my friend Kathy. Wave hi to Kathy, people.

Kathy on the tower. That's some view!
And that funny green building she is standing next to is the real life fire tower she has worked in for a number of summers on and off over the years. It was her tales of life as a fire watcher that gave me the idea for Sam's current occupation.

Sam's previous job as a Hotshots fire fighter was inspired by the tragic story of the Prescott Hotshots team that died a few years ago, leaving behind only one surviving member of the twenty man team. When I first heard about it, I thought, "What on earth must it be like for the one who lived?" And I had a personal connection with that story as well, because my friend Caere lives in Prescott, and told me about how the entire community mourned.

But Sam's tale was most based on all the wonderful bits and pieces I read on her fabulous blog A Room with a View (here's a sample). Sadly, last year was Kathy's last season up on the mountain, but thankfully she let me pick her brain for all sorts of great stuff, and fact-checked the manuscript as I wrote it. [Note: any errors were obviously mine, or else poetic license required by the story.]

She also shared with me some cool photos of the tower, both inside and out. Obviously, Sam's tower wasn't *exactly* the same as hers, but it was pretty damned close. (Yes, hers was in Wyoming too.)

Not a very big place to live for over five months!

This seriously IS a room with a view!

That's a LOT of stairs. The bathroom is at the bottom. Yeesh.

If you wondered how Sam could see a fire so far away, now you know!

An amazing view in every direction.
I am incredibly grateful to Kathy for sharing her story and her expertise with me, so I could share Sam's story with you. (She lived here in Oneonta for a time, and was a cherished member of Blue Moon Circle. Plus an amazing baker!) And I'm grateful for all of you who have read the book and shared Sam's story as well. So I think we should have a giveaway to celebrate, don't you? Kathy was kind enough to send me a sage smudge stick made from sage that she picked and wrapped on the mountain. Plus, I'll throw in a Wickedly Powerful notebook and a fun stuffed dragon (maybe a Chudo-Yudo?).

As always, there is no purchase necessary to enter, and all you have to do is use the Rafflecopter form below.* Tell me if you have read the book yet...and do you think you would like to live in a fire tower, like Kathy did?

a Rafflecopter giveaway

*You get extra points for reviewing this book, or any of the other novels (poor Wickedly Powerful hardly has any reviews compared to the others...it's feeling a little sad). Don't forget that leaving a review--and buying a book if you can--is one of the best ways to help an author!

Alex Bledsoe on Writing a Female Villain

A note from Deborah: I had so much fun doing a blog swap with my author pal Jim C. Hines a couple of weeks ago, I decided to do it again with long-time buddy Alex Bledsoe, the author of the Tufa  novels, plus a bunch of other great series. He wrote up something to post here on his thoughts about writing a female villain (which he did INCREDIBLY well in his latest book, LONG BLACK CURL...man, I hated that woman!). I'm over on his blog talking about writing novellas and novels for the same series--mine, that is. I'm giving away a copy of WICKEDLY POWERFUL over at his blog to one lucky commenter, and he is giving away a copy of his book here.

My post for Alex can be found HERE

ON WRITING A FEMALE VILLAIN
by Alex Bledsoe

Coming up with a villain is never easy.  Your villain is the measure against which your hero* must stand, so you never want to have a weak one.  More, the best villains believe that, from their perspective, they are the heroes.

The antagonists gender can present issues as well.  Im a firm lover of film noir and classic detective fiction, where the femme fatale occupies pride of place among villains. Brigid OShaughnessy very nearly outsmarts Sam Spade in THE MALTESE FALCON, and Irene Adler does outsmart Sherlock Holmes.  Even Disney presents an array of wicked queens, stepmothers and witches, and at least one femme fatale (Jessica Rabbit).

When I was writing LONG BLACK CURL, my most recent Tufa novel, I knew I needed a new villain.  The one from the preceding book, WISP OF A THING, had lost both his power and prestige in the community, and I thought that restoring it would be a cheat.  So I came up with Bo-Kate Wisby, one of the only Tufa to ever be permanently exiled, and her plan for revenge.

The Tufa novels are not action-adventures, so Bo-Kate didnt have to be the toughest character.  Nor did she necessarily have to be the smartest.  But she is without a doubt the most devious, and has one skill that makes her especially dangerous: the ability to pick out an opponents weaknesses.  She knows where to poke the knife, both literal and metaphorical.

I also wanted Bo-Kates reasons for her villainous behavior to be both clear and sympathetic, like Annie Wilkes in MISERY.  Bo-Kate believes shes fully justified in what shes doing, even when it costs innocent lives.  What was done to her was so horrific that any act of retribution is justified.

Shes also sexy, as a femme fatale should be.  Not all female villains areDolores Umbridge, for example, is about as sexy as a wet sock, but shes villainous through and through, as is Nurse Ratched from ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST.  Bo-Kate is much more in the tradition of Lena Olin in the delirious ROMEO IS BLEEDING, willing to do anythinganythingto see her plot to completion.

In a lot of popular culture, theres been the trope that a female villain must only face a female hero: think Faye Dunaway vs. Helen Slater in SUPERGIRL, or Halle Berry vs. Sharon Stone in CATWOMAN, to use two atrocious examples.  Both parts of KILL BILL were essentially nothing but girl-on-girl violence.  The idea seems to be that male heroes are simply too tough for a female villain to overcome, but thats clearly not true: again, see the history of femme fatales.

It was fun writing Bo-Kate, but by the end, I sympathized with her, too.  I think thats the sign of a good villain, and I can only hope that readers of LONG BLACK CURL share that sympathy by the final page.  If they do, then Ive done my job.

*hero and villain, unless otherwise specified, are genderless terms.

Tell Alex and me who your favorite female villain is, or what traits you would love to see in one that you haven't seen before. (Or just say hi.) We'll pick a random commenter in a week, on Wednesday the 24th.

Valentine's Day Flash Giveaway!

I confess--Valentine's Day has never been my favorite day. It has been many years since I had a significant other (and frankly, I never dated guys who were good at That Day). My beloved grandmother died five years ago today (way to mess up a perfectly good Hallmark holiday, Germambie). On top of that, it was MINUS twenty degrees out this morning when I woke up, and Minerva is very sick again. Plus I have a migraine and I *really* need to be writing.

I know...whine, whine, whine.

But here's the thing. Despite all that stuff, I am still a very lucky woman and I know it. I may not have romantic love, but I have so many people who love me, and who I love back. Plus, of course, the kitties. And my wonderful readers. I love all of you guys too!

So I'm going to do what I always do when I'm feeling crappy, and do something nice for someone else. This never fails to cheer me up. (Try it--you'll be amazed how much better you'll feel.)

If I could, I'd give each and every one of you a Valentine's gift. But since I can't, I'm going to do a Flash Giveaway (two, actually, because I'm also doing one over on Facebook at the same time). Look what I've got! A signed copy of Wickedly Powerful (it still has that new-book smell), a cute little "Be Wicked" broom, and a $10 Amazon gift card, in case the winner still needs to pick up Wickedly Ever After

Goodies!

Angus approves.

I love these little brooms, don't you? I special ordered them through Etsy all the way from France!
Since this is a Flash Giveaway, it is only on for the next two days, ending at midnight on Monday the 15th (EST). But it is open to everyone everywhere! (*waves at foreign readers*) And if you're on Facebook, don't forget to go enter the Flash Giveaway there, featuring the same goodies.

But leave a comment here too, and tell me who you would most like to spend Valentine's Day with (real or imaginary). Me, I'd like to go sit on a beach with MacGyver :-)

Wickedly Powerful Giveaway Roundup

Hi all!

I'm just back from my trip to Coastal Magic Con (that will be the next post up) and trying to catch up on All the Things. I'll probably put up another giveaway here next week to celebrate Wickedly Powerful's release. (Just out of curiosity, have you gotten your copy yet?) But in the meanwhile, I've got giveaways going on all over the Interwebs at other people's blogs, so I thought I'd do a round-up here in case you'd missed some of them.

FRESH FICTION -- Going on until Feb 29th, I'm giving away this cool prize pack

Huge double-sided tote, notebook, dragon, adorable mini-broom!
THE QWILLERY -- This one ends today (Wednesday the 10th) at midnight! But there are a couple of excerpts from the book which will still be up, if you want a sneak peek. Here's the prize pack for that one:

Notebook, mug with all three covers, a different adorable stuffed dragon, and the cute "Be Wicked" broom!
I'm also over at Maria V. Snyder's Blog where she has a fun interview with me and I am giving away a signed copy of the book as well as one of the cute little brooms.

Wickedly Powerful Kindle Giveaway Celebration

A week! WICKEDLY POWERFUL is out in a week!

*insert author happy dance here*

Obviously, we have to celebrate. Right? So how about one more giveaway to keep us occupied while we wait for release day?

You know what would be the perfect giveaway? One of those new Kindle Fires that Amazon just came out with. Plus a $10 gift card so that the winner can buy both Wickedly Powerful and Wickedly Ever After, the novella that came out on the 19th. (I'm assuming that one or two of you haven't actually bought it yet, as shocking as that concept might be.)

I think Magic approves.

Everyone who thinks that's a great idea, raise your hand. Or, you know, just enter the contest.

Don't forget to spread the word (pretty please) and to review any of the books once you've read them (pretty, pretty please--you have no idea how helpful this is to an author...you know, unless you hate the book, in which case, you don't have to bother).

And I will probably be doing flash giveaways here and on Facebook, and maybe even on Twitter, so be sure to keep checking back. Don't worry, once this novel is out, it is going to be ages before the next one comes out, so we'll go back to boring blog posts about my life and cute pictures of cats. Just in case you were getting tired of giveaways...

Wickedly Ever After Release Day & Giveaway!

The long wait is finally over! All you lovely folks who have been waiting patiently since last December (2014, not 2015) when Wickedly Wonderful came out now have not just one but two new installments in the Baba Yaga series!

The third novel, Wickedly Powerful, will be out in two weeks, on February 2nd. But in the meanwhile, look what's out TODAY!

It's here!
Wickedly Ever After is a novella that picks up after the end of Wickedly Powerful and shows us what happened to the first Baba Yaga, Barbara, after the ending of her own book, Wickedly Dangerous. Did I mention it is only $1.99?! That's cheaper than a cup of coffee.

Blurb:

Known as the wicked witch of Russian fairy tales, Baba Yaga is not one woman, but rather a title carried by a chosen few. They keep the balance of nature and guard the borders of our world, but don’t make the mistake of crossing one…
Having triumphed over a powerful enemy and ended up with both a wonderful guy—Sheriff Liam McClellan—and an adorable adopted daughter to raise as a Baba Yaga, Barbara Yager is ready to welcome her happily ever after. But first she must bring Liam to the Otherworld and get the Queen’s permission to marry him. The Queen, however, is not so easily persuaded. She gives them three impossible tasks to complete in two weeks’ time—and if they fail Barbara will have to watch Liam slowly age and die like all humans, and kiss her happily ever after good-bye forever.

Naturally, we have to celebrate with a giveaway, right? Use the Rafflecopter form to enter. As always, no purchase is necessary, although you get extra points for buying a book (or leaving a review, which is a huge help). Don't forget to leave a comment, too.

This one is open to everyone, everywhere! Check out this cool prize pack!

Cute little fire dragon, a huge tote with Wickedly Powerful on one side and the other two novels on the reverse, a Wickedly Powerful notebook, a cool "Be Wicked" broom all the way from France, and some nifty swag!

There will be plenty of other giveaways coming up, too, both here and on blogs where I am guesting to promote the book, so be sure to check back often. Happy novella release day! Tell me, have you read any of the previous books? If so, which book (or which Baba Yaga) is your favorite?
