Feline Friday: Not Happy
SIGH. For some reason, the poll doesn't seem to be working--I don't know why. So have a look at the list of possible prizes I might give out to promote the Baba Yaga books, and tell me which ones you'd like the most. (I'm NOT happy with you, Blogger.)
Happy Memorial Weekend to those in the USA, and happy weekend to everyone!
Magic, not happy at being disturbed in her hiding space under the table
Samhain, not happy that she had to have her subcutaneous fluids (to treat her chronic renal failure)
Minerva (with Mystic further down), not happy about me bothering our breakfast relaxation with picture taking (they're lying on my stretched out legs)
Angus, who is just confused.
I hope you have a happy and undisturbed weekend!

Amazon gift card (I could then also buy your book:) - that would be for me, only I never win any of competitions involving prizes for some reason. When will it be the day with prizes from you?
ReplyDeleteCats are gorgeous. So, Magic is the one who is the familiar, I assume (if I remember it correctly from your books).
I'll be doing a number of giveaways when the time gets closer (the prequel is out in August, and the first book in September). Right now I'm just plotting and planning :-)
DeleteAnd yes, Magic the Cat is my familiar.
What I'd really like is a signed ARC.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kitty pics. What a good looking group of feline furriness. You just want to pick up one of your cuties and have a lovefest. Although I think I might be intimidated by Magic the Magnificent.
Magic CAN be kind of intimidating, but she is also the sweetest cuddler on the planet. I wake every morning to her purring in my ear, and fall asleep that way at night. (Of course, in the process, she usually steals my pillow...but she is Queen of the Universe.)
DeleteI'd be delighted with a copy of one of the books (signed would be a bonus). :)
ReplyDeleteI would love a signed ARC. I am baby sitting 5 kittens. three are abpit 9-10 weeks am the other two are about six weeks. I have to keep them separate becaude the three boys have the boops. Medicine galore for all three. The three boys are climbing everything in my office including me. LOL I love cats. I do this for our county Humane Society.
ReplyDeleteJa Anne, that's a wonderful thing to be doing. Kudos! Kittens are terrific, but they can be a handful even if they aren't sick!
DeleteGreetings Deborah
ReplyDeleteI love these pics (considering I love cats that's not really surprising) but what I'm actually wondering about is the very lovely print Minerva is lying on. Is that a throw / blanket or a shirt ? And where did you find that? I really do love it.
Blessings

Hi Bonnie!
DeleteActually, it is a napkin :-) (I use cloth napkins to cover my lap when I'm eating, because I drop stuff. A lot.) I got them so many years ago, I don't remember where it was. Sorry. But yes, I love them too.
