I am a big fan of Mindy Klasky's writing--especially her Jane Madison series about a librarian that becomes a witch. (Really; what's not to like?) But I don't normally read the classic Harlequin romance lines, so I wasn't sure what I'd think about her new book, which is a Special Edition Harlequin.
I have to say, I picked it up today at Borders and it looks WAY COOL! And these books are only out for about a month, so you need to run out and get it now.

Don't take my word for it, just ask Samhain!

It's funny but I don't normally read the Harlequin romances, either. Way too reminiscent of the books I read at 13yo where a kiss was scandalous.
ReplyDeleteLately I've found a few that were really good, though. I'll check this one out.
Just got three of the Jane books. Can't wait to read them.
ReplyDeleteMy critique partner met Mindy at the Washington DC RWA National. she introduced me and we attended one of Mindy's workshops. I really liked her, and liked what she had to say, and then I forgot about her. There are so many authors out there and it's hard to keep track of them all. Thanks so much for jogging my memory, I'll pick up her book.
ReplyDeleteJudy--I'd also check out the ones by Candace Havens--lovely.
ReplyDeletebastet--you're going to LOVE the Jane books!
Robena--Mindy is an absolute sweetheart, isn't she? And so smart! She did some editing on my first couple of books and taught me SO much.
Please tell Samhain that I ordered the book today. And meow.
ReplyDeleteI'll check out Candace Havens. Always happy to find new authors.
Samhain says YAY!!!
ReplyDeleteI've never read any of Mindy's books. I'll have to check her out. Thanks for the recommendation. :)
