Okay--I feel bad that yesterday's post about Samhain was such a downer. So today we're going to do something much more fun.
This large and mysterious box came for me yesterday. (And yes, I know what's in it.) The first person who can correctly guess--specifically--what is inside will win a prize. And yes, the prize is in the box, too.
Ready, set, go--what's in the box?
New Books? Copies of YOUR newest book? Huh! Huh! Do I win?
ReplyDeleteP.s. How rude, I should at least say something nice like good morning, how are you?
Megan
your newest book!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess that it could be contributors copies of the 2012 Annuals???
ReplyDeleteIs it new copies of "Witchcraft on a Shoestring" that says its a 2011 COVR Award Winner on the cover!!!!
ReplyDeleteAn assortment of dried herbs.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is books. - Deborah C.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I cannot remember if you have a new book just coming out. If so, your copies are in there.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, my first thought was "a camel!" Don't blame me, that's just how my mind works. Then something clothlike, and books. Weird, I know. But there we are.
Copies of your new book? That would be fun. :)
ReplyDeleteFirst copies of your new book!!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay--some of you are close, but not quite.
ReplyDeleteI am currently WRITING the new book, so alas, it won't be out for a while :-)
I did recently get copies of the four annuals I contributed to, but it was a much smaller box.
No Shoestring with a new cover that says COVR award winner...but I love that idea :-)
Not herbs. And sadly, not a camel.
Here is a hint: where was I last week?
It is your summer reading of books...You ordered them a few weeks ago right???
ReplyDeleteAngela--
ReplyDeleteNot quite, but you are very close.
Copies of all the COVR winners books!
ReplyDeleteIt's all the signed books you got at RWA. :)
ReplyDeleteI tried to comment a moment ago, but I don't know if it took.
ReplyDeleteI think it's all the autographed books you picked up at RWA. :)
Ahhh, I know what it is, it's magazines with your dear self on the cover! Witches and Pagans perhaps?
ReplyDeleteThe free books from RWA that you mailed hme. ; )
ReplyDeleteThe free books you snagged at RWA National and mailed home. ; )
ReplyDeleteAND WE HAVE A WINNER!
ReplyDeleteWell, two, actually :-)
Robena and Sierra are both right. The box (plus another one that went USPS) was filled to the brim with books from RWA--free ones and ones I bought at the Literacy signing, many of them signed by the authors.
To be fair, about a third of them are destined for my pal Robin, who had to cancel her plans to attend. But yes, that's a lot of books!
And Robena and Sierra each get one!!!!
I Heart you so much. I am looking forward to all of those lovely books you've snagged for little ol' me--mostly because my Kindle doesn't supply me with "new book smell". I wonder how busy the NYC post office was with all of you RWA types mailing books home...
