It's here! After a two week delay (due to supply chain issues, of course), DOGGONE DEADLY is finally out in the world.
I'm so excited to share this second book in my Catskills Pet Rescue series with you. Hopefully you've already read and loved the first book,
FURBIDDEN FATALITY featuring Kari Stuart, her friends at the Serenity Sanctuary, and of course, her feisty little black kitten Queenie. In the second book, Kari's friend Suz is accused of murder at a dog show, and things, well, go to the dogs.
Here are some handy buy links:
To celebrate the book release, I'm going to be doing a fun giveaway, as usual. (You know I love giveaways.) Since so many of you loved the pictures I posted of the amazing tiny painting my tarot illustrator Elisabeth Alba did of me recently, I've ordered a cool totebag from RedBubble with that picture on it.
Inside the bag is going to be this fabulous gift pack of an Amazon Fire 7 tablet, a signed copy of the book, a cute stuffed kitten and a white dog (there are Bichons in the book), a pen, a bookmark, and a magnet. Who wouldn't want that?
All you have to do to enter is fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Obviously, I'd love it if you would buy the book (or ask your library to buy it), spread the word far and wide, and of course, put up a short review once you've read it. But either way, feel free to enter. Happy book day!

I use to be a dog person, but I saved a stray cat recently and now I’m firmly a cat person. She’s a kitten named Luna and she’s adorable. My kids love her too.
ReplyDeleteThey do sneak up on you...I had a cat named Luna once. I wish you many years of happiness with yours.
DeleteThank you! Actually we rescued a stray older cat before we found Luna and we lost him. He was an outside cat, but he always came home to eat and sleep. He went out one day and never came back. It’s been a couple months, and then we found Luna. I don’t plan on letting her outside without a leash. I love all animals though! I’d love to have a dog, cat, and more!
DeleteI grew up with cats that went outdoors and always had indoor/outdoor cats when I was younger. Since I moved to the house where I am now (20 years ago) all my cats have stayed indoors. It's so much safer!
DeleteI grew up on a mini farm, I raised thousands of rabbits, chickens, we had pigs, 2 ponies, a bull, a goat and we always had cats and dogs. I really love all animals. But for the first time in my life I have my OWN dog, and he is my baby.
ReplyDeleteWow--that's great. But yay for having your own dog!
DeleteI have so many friends and family with dogs and cats, I never even think about having one, I am a bird person at this time <3
ReplyDeleteBirds are cool too!
DeleteI currently have 1 dog named Daisy, and a crested gecko named Mystery. I never grew up around cats which is why I’m not too fond of them😂
ReplyDeleteOooh, a crested gecko! That sounds cool. As does Daisy, of course. There was a character named Daisy in the first book.
Deletelike both, no pets
ReplyDeletevisited Patreon
I love both, but I am supposedly allergic to dogs. Rescued is my favorite breed.
ReplyDeleteI love both, but prefer living with cats. I currently have two lovely rescues; a gorgeous all-black lady named Cleo, and an orange tabby rascal named Jasper.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorite color cats! There are orange tabby brothers in the books :-)
DeleteI have a special fondness for cats, but also love dogs! Right now we have our "old" cat who was a rescue and two kittens, one mine, one my daughter's who has since moved home! Add one 100-pound dog who is afraid of the kittens and a dachshund who adores them and its a madhouse!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the best kind of madhouse.
DeleteI already ordered your second, but if I win it's going to my town's library! Happy Book Birthday!
ReplyDeleteThank you! That reminds me, I need to drop one off at my own library.
DeleteAnd....forgot to answer the question. I'm both--we have a rescue dog and a little cat who decided we were his home last winter and has tolerated us ever since.
ReplyDeleteThey do tend to pick you, don't they?
DeleteI prefer cats as they are self sufficient and I love their personalities. I won't get a dog again after my childhood dog died a traumatic death.
ReplyDeleteHugs. I'm so sorry.
Deletecant wait to read these! i have 3 pugs, a horse and lineolated parakeet...my husband keeps saying NO to a cat...LOL!
ReplyDeleteBut someone has to keep those pugs in line!
DeleteI love all animals but cats are my favorite. I have 3 rescue cats that rule the house 😺
ReplyDeleteOf course they do :-)
DeleteI love my dogs and cats! If I really really have to choose it would be cats but I don't want to. :)
ReplyDeleteI just visited your Patreon page. There are lots of levels. Quite affordable ones too, so who knows... ;) For now I keep supporting you by buying the books and the decks (love those!).
O, and all animals in our household are rescues. I volunteered for years in the local pet shelter, I will always choose rescue.
DeleteThat works too!
DeleteI am an everything person. Currently have 5 dogs,3 are rescues, other 2 are descended from rescues. And a Siamese kitten has decided to move in. No idea where she came from...
ReplyDeleteHa! Sounds about right.
DeleteI love both cats and dogs, but I'm mostly a cat person. I have two shelter cats, Hamilton and Jefferson. They are so much fun. I have visited your Patreon page.
ReplyDeleteShelter kitties for the win.
DeleteI love animals, cats especially. I thought the first book was outstanding and can't wait to dive into the new one!
ReplyDeleteKit
I prefer cats & have a rescue named Zim. But also have a young rescue puppers named Scully
ReplyDeleteyay for all the rescues!
DeleteA snail? I assume that's in a fish tank?
ReplyDeleteI am an animal person, doesn't matter what kind-just posted a meme that says: "I will pet a crocodile if I know it won't bite me" Lol! Visited your patreon page
ReplyDeleteI hear that. I love pretty much all animals...except maybe the chipmunks that decimate my garden and yard...
DeleteWell, I'm just obsessed with cats. My kitty's name was Orion, he unfortunately died and I'm still crying for him... I wish someday I could find another mate. I check your patron and I wonder why it is on Japanese Lol! A lot of hugs
ReplyDeleteTina.
I forgot to mention that Orion was rescued, he was walking on street, he was Soo small poor creature.
DeleteMy Patron is in Japanese?
DeleteI'm very sorry to hear about your kitty Orion. I have lost a lot of my beloved cats in the last few years, and it is so hard. Thankfully the ones I rescued in their place fill my heart. Maybe it is time for a new kitty?
I visited your Patron page . I have A 15 year old dog
ReplyDeleteWow, getting a dog to 15 is quite an achievement.
DeleteI visited Patron page. I have a cat, I bottle fed her she was so tiny and mother cat didn't make it. She is 1 year old now and is a joy to have.
ReplyDeleteAw, good for you. I've done that, and I know how much work it is.
DeleteI love your books! I frequently recommend your Craft books at the shop I work in, as well as your fiction series.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! People who spread the word are wonderful.
DeleteI love cats best, they make my heart sing. But I do love all animals and was a wildlife rehabber for a good while until my health got bad.
ReplyDeleteBeing a wildlife rehabber must have been fascinating. I'm sorry to hear you can't do it any more, but I'm grateful for the animals you helped while you could.
DeleteI visited your paetron page
ReplyDeleteI run a small rescue farm and I love All animals I visited your paetron page
ReplyDeleteA rescue farm! That's wonderful.
DeleteWe have 2 rescue dogs as well as a quaker parrot and a leopard gecko. They all have different personalities and I love it. Animals in the house make it more magickal for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the variety!
DeleteLove your books have not read this one yet. Have dogs and cats and watched personalities as kittens grow. Watched the female cat become head of the colony.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to catch up :-)
DeleteI visited your patreon, and the black cats remind me of my own. :D
ReplyDeleteYay for black cats!
