Veiled Magic Update and Giveaway!

So it has been about two weeks since Veiled Magic came out, and people seem to like it. YAY!

I'm so happy, I decided to do another giveaway, just because I can. And to say thank you to all of you, for helping to make the book a success.

Look what I've got:

Veiled Magic prize pack!
There's a Veiled Magic tote bag and notebook, plus a postcard, and a broom pen, plus a cute stuffed dragon because, seriously, who doesn't need more cute? I might toss another couple of fun things in there too, you never know.

Here's a couple of cool screen grabs I took off of Amazon while I was (coff) NOT obsessively checking to see how the book was doing.

This was on the Tuesday a week after the book came out:

Rankings after a week

Good company!
The second one is Amazon's "Customers who bought this item also bought" list--OMG! I'm listed with Patricia Briggs, Jennifer Estep, and Ilona Andrews...now that's some good company to be in.

So tell me, did you get a copy? And if you did, have you read it yet? Did you like it? (Not that authors care about such things...just curious.) Or, you know, just comment on something.

Oh, here's some links...

Next up, I'll be talking about the first book in the Riders series (a continuation of the Baba Yaga books, starring the Riders). And how the book tried to kill me.

Thanks so much to everyone who bought Veiled Magic, talked about it to their friends, or just cheered me on. You guys rock.

  1. I am saving your book to read when I have a large chuck of time so that I can totally immerse myself in the fabulousness of it. I have to work harder to get that chuck of time.

  2. I am loving Veilded Magic! I'm about 3/4 of the way thru and will put a review up once I am done. I hope this becomes another series too! Hint hint!

  3. Loved the book, and hope there will be more in the series. It reminded me of fav 80s tv shows: a mystery to solve, a group becoming friends, a zing of romance, some past complications and some family challenges. Delicious!

  4. Grr. Unfortuantely, I live in a place where I can't easily get your books. Maybe, if I have to go to Billings in a week or so, I will look for it then.

    1. Sadly, this one is only out as an ebook. But you might be able to get the Baba Yaga books, if you don't have those yet?

  6. I've loved all the books of yours that I've purchased. I plan to buy this over the holidays as I usually get an Amazon gift card and your books are always top of the list to order (unless I already own it naturally). Looking forward to reading it though.

  7. I haven't yet read the Baba Yaga books, but I plan to do so as soon as I've completed (posted) my most pressing reviews. I can't take a break for "personal" reading or I might get completely engrossed and decide to read/review books for fun rather than for all the other reasons. I love your work. You have a writing style that makes reading easy. Not all writers have that ability.

  9. So far I am loving the book. It is taking me a little longer to read than I would like but I am so tired I take it to bed and fall asleep with it. I plan to read it all day on Thursday when I am off though :)

  12. This is definitely the kind of stuff I like to win. I hope I have a good chance as it would be nice to win something instead of having to buy it. My wife says I am cheap. I like to think of myself as thrifty. It is easy to get those kind of items in a free way instead.
