We're at three weeks to release day for
Veiled Magic, so it must be time for another giveaway! Big congrats to Diane P. of Canada, who won the last one. And be sure to check back next week, because IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC. Just sayin'.
This week's giveaway has a Halloween theme, as befits the season. Whether you celebrate it as Halloween or Samhain, you'll probably like this week's goodies. I have to admit, I had a LOT of fun putting together this prize pack.
The winner gets his or her choice of
The Witch's Broom (Llewellyn nonfiction) or
Wickedly Dangerous plus a cool "You say wicked like it's a bad thing" magnet, a witch ornament, a broom pen, some small twisted black beeswax candle (for magic or everyday use), a magical black cat magnet, plus some misc. swag. And also, this little guy!
To enter, just use the Rafflecopter form below. As always, you can do one or all of the options, but to get credit for a review it either has to be a new one (you can always review a different book of mine) or posted in a new place (if you put a review up at Amazon, you can put it on B&N or Goodreads, for instance). The Tweet about the Giveaway option can be done every day. No purchase necessary and the giveaway is open to everyone, everywhere.
So tell me, how do you celebrate Halloween or Samhain? Is it a religious or spiritual holiday for you, as it is for me, or just a fun day? (Nothing wrong with that!) Are you dressing up? Do you carve a cool pumpkin? Inquiring minds (and our tiny friend above) want to know.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
I´ll do solitare ritual for Samhain and I also bake pumpkin pie.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing a small ritual with two Blue Moon Circle peeps and baking an apple pie :-)
DeleteI'll do a little private meditation, then, weather allowing, a fire in the Secret Garden to honor the ancestors and those passed. If the weather is crappy...it's a candle inside. ;) Thanks for all that you do!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds lovely!
DeleteTaking my coven on a field trip to a grand opening of a new crystal shop nearby, and then we will do ritual in the evening
ReplyDeleteField trip! And a new crystal shop...oooohh!

DeleteEating a lot of candy! Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI usually help my husband pass out candy to the kids and then have a ritual to honor my beloved dead after that. I sometimes go visit a local group. They have a bonfire and stay up all night.
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful!
DeleteThis year I'll be doing makeup for two people. I've also made costumes for my grandsons, so I'll be going over and helping my daughter with them, then I'll come home and do my own ritual later that night.
ReplyDeleteFun!
DeleteTrick/treats with the Grands on 31st. Private ritual on 1November.
ReplyDeleteI usually take my daughter trick or treating, but I really love checking out all the neighborhood decorations. People get really creative at Halloween
ReplyDeleteEvery year since I was a little girl my family has had the same tradition. I now share that with my children and grandchildren. There is trick or treating, the lighting of the great pumpkins. We always have dinner which consists of Witch's Brew Stew and Mexican cornbread, roasted pumpkin seeds. We always remember the ones who have passed.
ReplyDeleteSounds terrific.
DeleteCute giveaway, love it
ReplyDeleteI celebrate Halloween all month long- we have events every weekend. Zombie Walk, Witches Ball, Zombie Prom...by Halloween we are worn out. We take the kids trick or treating, grab pizza to go, then come home and watch Hocus Pocus while sorting through the candy loot. :-)
wow :-)
DeleteWould you believe I have still never seen Hocus Pocus?
We trick or treat, since we have a young one, and then we come home, drink something warm and go through candy while we watch something Halloween-y. Once the little one is in bed, then I usually do some scrying or tarot practice. It is usually pretty low key outside of trick or treating, since that takes so much out of us.
ReplyDeleteMy coven celebrates with a ritual and feasting.
ReplyDeleteO goodness!! I want to win this so badly!! Thank you for doing this. <3
ReplyDeleteIt won't let me post my name - but I am Liz
DeleteFunny, it let you post it this time!

ReplyDeleteHappy first Samhain!
DeleteMy little boy is going to be a stoplight this year. His dad made him a black box with red, yellow, and green lights, and switches, wiring, and a battery, so the signals will change while Little Man walks around.
ReplyDeleteWow--that's a great dad! I hope I get to see a picture!
