BOOK GIVEAWAY and Feline Friday

Happy Friday! (And is it just me, or did it take a loooonnnnnggggg time to get here this week?)

After getting the news yesterday that my first book Circle, Coven & Grove was going out of print, and getting such a heart-warming and supportive response to my announcement, I decided to run a contest and give away one of my few copies (which are now going to become a collector's item!). There are only 3 left on Amazon, and a couple at Llewellyn, so they are going to get pretty hard to find.

You can see that I am still mastering this Rafflecopter thing...so you'll have to click on the "create your own option" buttons to see what they are. It's like being on a scavenger hunt :-)

The contest will run until Tuesday. Good luck...let's send this book out with a bang!

And just because it's Friday...

    1. Honestly, it's a little sad. And of course, your first book has a special place in your heart. But it is one of the realities of the publishing life--like rejections and waiting. You just have to roll with the punches.

  6. What an awesome giveaway! Thank you for being so generous. I've always said that authors are some of the most amazingly generous people. Fingers crossed I'm the lucky one to get the copy!

Love your kitties, btw! I have two - a black and a gray. Their names are Kiki and Roo. I just had to tell you when I saw your picture. Those could be my girls!

    1. Well, at least you have it on Kindle :-) And I will probably have a small stash for a few months, if you can't get one off of Amazon.

  10. Very bummed to hear that this excellent resource is going out of print. It's one of the first books on ritual I purchased as a pagan newbie. I've been inspired by the quality of the writing as well as the ideas for rituals. Glad I have my copy.

  11. Hi Deborah! I absolutely loved your book, "The Goddess is in the Details." Earlier in this year, I was forced to move exceptionally quickly and I had to eliminate half of my book collection (and since I'm a literature graduate student, you can imagine how many books I must have had!). Your book was one of the first I sent to my "They will have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands" box! Please keep up the amazing work!

  12. I find all your books so helpful in my writing. I think it is so wonderful that you share so much about your practice with the world at large. It goes a long way toward breaking myths and stereotypes about witches and witchcraft.

  14. Hi Deborah,

I already have this book so I don't need another copy. It's a gem!!! I also wanted to say thank you for Feline Fridays. I so enjoy your cat pictures! Also, keep writing more nonfiction books. I love reading about the craft from your unbiased perspective. Your books are great reference resources!

  16. I am so thankful I chose to order mine last year. I love it. Now I'm trying to win one for a friend who's studying the path. The up side, I know there is always more coming from you, sweetie. And I look forward to them all! ~ Blessings

  17. You know, Miss Deborah, it really isn't fair asking us to choose a favorite. hehe I love them all, but the one I find myself going back to is Witchcraft on a Shoestring or the Everyday Witchcraft books. Because they work together, helping us to walk the path every day, regardless of the economy. Blessings!
