Happy Friday! (And is it just me, or did it take a loooonnnnnggggg time to get here this week?)
After getting the news yesterday that my first book Circle, Coven & Grove was going out of print, and getting such a heart-warming and supportive response to my announcement, I decided to run a contest and give away one of my few copies (which are now going to become a collector's item!). There are only 3 left on Amazon, and a couple at Llewellyn, so they are going to get pretty hard to find.
You can see that I am still mastering this Rafflecopter thing...so you'll have to click on the "create your own option" buttons to see what they are. It's like being on a scavenger hunt :-)
a Rafflecopter giveaway
The contest will run until Tuesday. Good luck...let's send this book out with a bang!
And just because it's Friday...

I checked out your book from my local Library and loved it. I would be super excited to get my own copy!
ReplyDeletei love all your books! i have most on kindle and i am slowly getting them in print. how does it feel when one of your books goes out of print? best of luck with all of your upcoming work!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, it's a little sad. And of course, your first book has a special place in your heart. But it is one of the realities of the publishing life--like rejections and waiting. You just have to roll with the punches.
DeleteI read (and reviewed) The Goddess is in the Details, and I loved it. I hope to get to read more of your books in the near future!
ReplyDeleteThanks babe! I really appreciate you taking the time to do the review. (I love that book!) Which one is next on your list?
DeleteI think I have almost all your books, even fiction. I think On A Shoestring and In the Details are my favs.
ReplyDeleteThanks! And The Goddess is in the Details is probably my favorite too.but don't tell the other books!
DeleteDeborah, I love your books. I had ..On a shoestring and lost it when I became homeless this year. But it and any others I can I plan on adding back into my library to help it grow into what it should be. Blessings my dear Sister.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the homeless thing. That sucks. I hope you get a new place soon!
Delete*hugs*
What an awesome giveaway! Thank you for being so generous. I've always said that authors are some of the most amazingly generous people. Fingers crossed I'm the lucky one to get the copy!
ReplyDeleteLove your kitties, btw! I have two - a black and a gray. Their names are Kiki and Roo. I just had to tell you when I saw your picture. Those could be my girls!
Lori
You're very welcome. I love giving away books :-) Later in the year, I'm going to do a huge giveaway of spare copies of a bunch of my author friends' books.
DeleteAnd yay kitties!
Please sighn me up for the contest I would like to read you books to my husband who is having heath problems and he likes me reading to him. He said that it is a comfort for him.
ReplyDeleteYou enter by using the form up above. You can pick as many options as you like, to get more chances to win. And some options can be used every day!
DeleteBig hugs to you and your husband. I hope he is feeling better soon.
I must get this! I have it on Kindle, but I need the printed version. You are such an inspiration to me and I adore you ... I must have your work! And to think I might not have a chance of getting this one makes me sad. Love and hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you have it on Kindle :-) And I will probably have a small stash for a few months, if you can't get one off of Amazon.
DeleteI love your feline Fridays. They are beautiful cats and must be very good company -- most of the time.
ReplyDeleteThank you! And yes they are...most of the time :-)
DeleteVery bummed to hear that this excellent resource is going out of print. It's one of the first books on ritual I purchased as a pagan newbie. I've been inspired by the quality of the writing as well as the ideas for rituals. Glad I have my copy.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteHi Deborah! I absolutely loved your book, "The Goddess is in the Details." Earlier in this year, I was forced to move exceptionally quickly and I had to eliminate half of my book collection (and since I'm a literature graduate student, you can imagine how many books I must have had!). Your book was one of the first I sent to my "They will have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands" box! Please keep up the amazing work!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Mary! *smooches*
DeleteI love witchcraft on a shoestring.
ReplyDeleteI find all your books so helpful in my writing. I think it is so wonderful that you share so much about your practice with the world at large. It goes a long way toward breaking myths and stereotypes about witches and witchcraft.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole Ann! That's part of the reason I do it.

ReplyDeleteHi Deborah,
ReplyDeleteI already have this book so I don't need another copy. It's a gem!!! I also wanted to say thank you for Feline Fridays. I so enjoy your cat pictures! Also, keep writing more nonfiction books. I love reading about the craft from your unbiased perspective. Your books are great reference resources!
Ooh I'd LOVE to win a copy! Thanks for the opportunity :)
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful I chose to order mine last year. I love it. Now I'm trying to win one for a friend who's studying the path. The up side, I know there is always more coming from you, sweetie. And I look forward to them all! ~ Blessings
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks! And what a nice thing to do for your friend!
DeleteYou know, Miss Deborah, it really isn't fair asking us to choose a favorite. hehe I love them all, but the one I find myself going back to is Witchcraft on a Shoestring or the Everyday Witchcraft books. Because they work together, helping us to walk the path every day, regardless of the economy. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteYou know me, always being difficult :-)
