Twenty Thousand Views

I'm a bit flabbergast. Flabbergasted? Er...flabberstruck. Never mind--I'm just stunned and amazed.

My humble little blog about writing and witches and books and whatevertheheckisgoingonhereusuallytodowithcats has hit the 20,000 views mark.

20,000 times someone (maybe you) has come here to see what I had to say. Okay, a few of them may have been looking for someone else. Or something not to do with writing or witches or cats or reading or cooking or any of the other random things I talk about here. But still, I have to think that most of those 20,000 views were on purpose. And mostly not my mother. *waves to mom*

That's just...well...kinda heartwarming.

So I wanted to say "thank you" to everyone who has been one (or more) of those 20,000. Thanks for reading. Thanks for commenting. Thanks for not pointing and laughing where I can see you...

It really means a lot.

So I'm thinking I should do something to celebrate. 20,000 things, really, but I don't have that much stuff to give away. So how about y'all tell me in the comments why you come here (Magic the Cat says it's all about her, but I don't think so). And I'll pick a random commenter on Sunday and he or she can have the book of mine of his/her choice. Even international folks. And if the winner doesn't want one of my books, he/she/it can pick one of the duplicates I have of friends' books.

So, what brings you here? And what brings you back? Inquiring minds want to know. LOTS of them, apparently.

Yay.

    Congrats, Witchy! My daughter comments frequently on her blog that her Dad and I are the most frequent followers, but I think she's wrong; she's a poet and an artist and there is lots there for everyone to see.

    It's the same here on your blog, you share a lot of interesting stuff. I followed you here from Lucy's blog.

    Hi, I came all the way from Malaysia, a small country next to Singapore. I am writer, just not as established as you are. The reason I view your blog is because there was this one fine day (Probably last week), my heart talked about witchy stuff. And from where I came from, never heard of a witch writer. So, it is an exciting, impulsive search that I got online. Yes, if I am selected, I'd love to have your book with your autograph. Kudos to your success and shall there be more and more writings from you (^_^)

    And yes, unfortunately, that winter weather advisory covers my area--they are talking a possible 3-7 INCHES of snow. I'm praying they're wrong. Too early for me...and I really don't want to have to shovel the snow off the circle up behind the barn so Blue Monn Circle and I can do our Samhain ritual!

    I originally came over here after reading one of your books to review, but I chose to stay because I love your personality. You discuss things I am interested in, and I am always looking forward to hearing about new projects. Part of it may be the cat too. ;)

    I come here because you and I are facebook friends, and we have a lot in common from what I've seen. I live a witchy life with my family and 12 cats (each one is magickal).     I love how you write. It is warm and open and inviting. I feel like you are here talking to me. Your ability to be who you are, witch, writer, all round great person, comes through in all your writings.     Congratulations! Though I'm not surprised that you have so many visitors/fans...I keep reading your page because I love your writing and your warm, wise and positive voice. It's also fun to have a first-hand account of your fabulous witchy life, because (like others here have said), I don't really have similar examples in my own life. Keep up the great work!
