Hey all,
I am hard at work on my new book for Llewellyn, tentatively titled "50 Rituals for the Everyday Witch" (#3 in the Everyday Witch series, complete with my co-author, Magic the Cat!).
There are some rituals and themes I already know I plan to include in the book, but I am open to suggestions and requests for the rest. So for anyone with a magickal inclination, I ask...
What rituals do you want?
Now's your big chance, tell me what rituals you need and haven't been able to find? What do you want to work on? Go ahead...tell me.
I don't promise to include anything in particular, but I am definitely open to requests!

Something to keep negative people..I mean energy, far, far away. =)
ReplyDeleteOr a ritual for a new business?
Though I suppose any bring me money ritual would work for that. I'm such a bad pagan.
How about something to banish procrastination? That is my worst personal flaw. (People who have to put up with my on a regular basis might not agree, but it totally is!)
ReplyDeleteHow about a "procrastination" and "get things rolling spells"? I sure could use those right about now. :-S Seems we can't get things going in the time frame we have. Like the Universe keeps throwing rain, work schedules, flooding, animal troubles...(you name it) our way. Backs up our build schedule and I don't want to be building in -25 below! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh! Oh! and a "Yes, mother dear" spell...that'll fix those munchkins of mine!
ReplyDeletetee hee!
I am always on the hunt for a ritual for increased guidance when it comes time for decision making. To bring light to the better choice to make.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your books and can't wait for your new one!!! Thank you for all you do!!
Brightest Blessings.
A nice polite and enriching ritual for disconnecting from a member or members that have left a Circle would be handy to have. We recently ran into this situation in our circle. We started having odd problems crop up and after some discussion and meditation we determined the source. (The two that left did so due to a great deal of personal confusion over their paths.) Some of the things were inadvertent and some were deliberately aimed at us. We had to really dig to find a disconnect/uncross ritual that would fit the bill and end on a positive note for all parties! Happily mission accomplished after a bit of tweaking. I’m certain that ours is not the only Circle that would have loved to have one handy.
ReplyDeleteHey thxs for the opp! Nice Neighbors! How to (hopefully!) obtain nice folks that move in next door to ya. House on 1 side is up for rent every 2 yrs. House on other side, -next wk will just move out & let it be Foreclosed! So IDK what or when to expect re: New neighbors.
ReplyDeleteI see spells re: To Sell/Buy a home, but NOTHING re: Nice neighbors in the rental next dr!
p.s. I've written my own, & so far, benn pretty lucky!
Thanks all! Some fun suggestions here.
ReplyDeleteBree--There is a Neighbors spell in my Everyday Witch A to Z Spellbook :-)
Ooh, one for forgiveness/letting go (unless there's a nice ritual for Leave Me the Hell Alone and May Karma Bite Your Ass...although that seems unlikely)
ReplyDeletealso the procrastination one...a lot!
I would love to see the following types of spells included in your book:
ReplyDelete1) Something to find a lost pet.
2) Something to heal a sick pet.
3) Something to do with writing (i.e. to gain confidence, to write faster, be more productive, find the right agent/publisher, and just create your story).
4) Something to slow down time so that we can have more time to follow our passion and do what we want
Thanks so much for asking for input.
Vonnie--I'm pretty sure that trying to slow down time is a bad idea, although I see your point. How about a creativity ritual or maybe one to pursue your passion?
ReplyDeleteThere is, BTW, a "Writing Success" spell in the Everyday Witch A to Z Spellbook... (The trick here is not to duplicate anything from the previous books, which can be tough!)
Lora--I like the forgiveness idea (although the other suggestion is good too).
Definitely What Becky Said!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'd love to know a ritual for healing the body, for banishing shame, for releasing inherited baggage. Ok, so that's a total of four rituals. Too much to ask for?
Hi Deborah,
ReplyDeleteHow about:
Good friends – I live in an area where being different is not welcome.
Guidance – need to make some decisions from time to time and I feel a bit lost and would like some inspiration or enlightenment.
Good neighbors - see good friends.
Where/how to retire - this is coming up in about 7 years and we have no idea where or how we are going to retire.
I hope I haven’t repeated anything from a book but probably have. Oh well.
Thanks for all you do Deborah, and good luck on the new book. Can’t wait to read it and add it to the collection.
Blessings always,
Deborah C
