So, a funny thing...
The Everyday Witch Oracle Deck (which I worked on with Elisabeth Alba, who did the tarot deck with me) was supposed to come out on September 8th. But it came into the Llewellyn warehouses unexpectedly early...so now it is coming out on AUGUST 12th! That's next MONDAY! Can I get a woot?
But of course, that completely throws off my promotional plans, since I now have less than five days to do what I would have done in a month. On the bright side, if you've been eagerly awaiting this deck, you're going to get it a lot earlier!
I got my author copies right before I left for a long weekend vacation with friends (pictures of that coming soon, probably), and finally had a chance to open one up today. They're soooo pretty! Llewellyn did a great job as always, and Elisabeth's artwork takes my breath away.

ReplyDeleteI currently have Brian Fruod's Faerie Oracle, the Rider-Waite Tarot, Shadowscapes Tarot, Scott Alexander-King's Animal Dreaming Oracle, Healing with the Fairies Oracle, The Familiars Tarot, a set of runes, divination dominoes, a crystal ball, and a pendulum - you could say I'm a little fascinated with divination!

DeleteIt's a bit of an addiction, to be honest, haha. Oh, and I have three apps on my phone as well - Wildwood Tarot, Faces of Faerie and the Golden Thread Tarot. But I still have to fight the urge to buy more decks all the time! My brother and I were interested in occult subjects as kids back in the '80s and found a library book about playing card divination, and it all grew from there.

DeleteHi, I know the giveaway has ended, but I have a question. You said the deck is available now, but most of the websites say it's available on the 8th of September. I've pre-ordered it on the German Amazon and they say that it's available from the 8th and then it will be delivered around the 24th of September. :o So does that mean that the earlier release date is only for the US market? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt is apparently released a little later outside of the USA. Some folks are saying October, so if you can get it in September, you're still doing well!
