Here is the cover for the set (on the outside of the box). The card they used here is Judgement.
Here is the cover for the book I wrote, which will come with the deck. The card they used for this one is the The High Priestess.
And here is what the back of the cards will look like. I LOVE this design!!! Isn't Elisabeth's art fabulous?

If you've read some of the earlier posts about the creation of the deck, you might already know that when I was writing the book, I bought a bunch of other tarot kits for research. So I'm going to give away one of those--a cool card and book kit called Tarot for Everyone. It came out in 2008 and it isn't even available anymore, so I suppose you could consider it a collector's item. (The kit is open, of course, since I looked at it while I was working on my book.)

Beautiful! Cannot wait for this deck to be available as I want one badly! My fave decks are Robin Wood, Wildwood, & Rider. I think your new one will be my new favorite :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG Can't wait for this set to come out! And to answer the question - yes, I do. I have...oh geez, hang on... (counting in my head) eight that I can think of off the top of my head. My go-to is the Witch's Tarot by Ellen Dugan, though I also really love my Heart of Stars deck, and I need to play more with my Wild Wood deck.

ReplyDeleteI have a couple - one is missing a few cards (years of moving around) and I'm not particularly attached to the other set. I haven't found any that I do like; anxious to check out yours and hoping it "fits!"

ReplyDeleteHanson-Roberts is my go-to deck. But I also have the Gay Tarot and a sock monkey tarot deck. (It might be called the Knitter's Tarot, I don't remember for sure.) I look forward to adding yours to my collection!

DeleteI own several deacks. Actually 8 to be precise. I am always looking for decks that deviate from the too often incorporated Judeo-Christian aspects. My favorite is Animals Diving, but Druidcraft and Dragon are up there also. Looking forward to your deck...

ReplyDeleteI have been reading professionally for five years now, but I am very selective about my decks because I live in a small home with a limited amount of space. As much as I do appreciate many of them, there are only a few I care to own or work with. I think this deck will be fabulous not only for my clients, but for me! I really love the artwork and cannot wait to devour the companion book and hear all of the insights as only you can put them in your "everyday" style!
Ironically, as much as I love looking at all the decks out there, until I started working on this project, I had only owned and used one tarot deck for all the years I've been reading professionally (the Radiant Rider-Waite deck).

I own either too many or not enough decks, depending on whether you are asking my wife or me... :)

I don't own a deck, but this will be my first :) I love the look and feel of the artwork.

ReplyDeletei have two decks currently, revelations tarot that i have retired from use and shadowscapes tarot which i currently use. i'm so excited about the deck and honestly there are a few really beautiful decks that are out now that have inspired me to start collecting them again!

DeleteARGHH! Why isn't it January yet!! I NEED THIS! I'm so excited about your deck and Mickie's forthcoming book release, it's just too much!! I collect cards and have about forty decks, Mickie's is just to the side of me as I type, but I ALWAYS want more. I'm not addicted, honest! Also the Judgement card you featured above is very reminiscent of The Fool as it appears in traditional decks; I love interesting twists on traditional cards, and the illustrations look great! I cannot wait to get my paws on these! Hope your knee is OK xxx

ReplyDeleteI do. I am currently learning my Tarot on a Gilded Tarot deck, which I am enjoying very much. Before that, I had a Marseilles deck I was given as a gift, but I needed something much more visual. I am also a collector, so I do have a few others. This one looks like I could either add to my collection, or better yet, gift it to my daughter who is starting to show interest in witchy things.
