The same thing happened to my...That is so strange!! The same thing happened to my husband on Saturday night only he was rounding up cows that'd broke through the fence. Walking through the woods, he heard a loud crack and then popping sound. Not ten feet from where he stood a large limb hit the ground. Also no wind, minimal rain and the lightening was still far to the south.
