Most of the ones that reach my area aren't more than tropical storms - but those have been known to drop torrential rains. I've had to, on occasion, park my car high and dry, lift the skirt of my dress, and wade through waist-deep water back to the safety of my house. There is a dip in the road between high ground and the house. The house is safe, but you have to do some liquid navigation to get there.

I'm glad to hear you're safely home, that you reached your friends in time, and that you found a way to turn the situation around into productivity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5118905778148213851.post-11214091307416688382010-10-01T22:10:34.036-04:002010-10-01T22:10:34.036-04:00Glad to hear you made it home and are now safe a d...Glad to hear you made it home and are now safe a dry! Eventually the computer gurus will be done futzing with my computer, and then maybe I will start making progress again, too.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10142090423235200822noreply@blogger.com
