Years ago when I wrote the book of my heart, I did it with the company of 7 daycare children from newborn to 8 years old. Now I'm in the house alone (except for 2 demanding felines) and I struggle to make myself sit and write. <br /><br />The other thing is determining when the words seem to flow the best for you. I am a morning person, but don't ask me to put anything on paper before 4 p.m. By 10 p.m. I'm done for the night.<br /><br />Thanks for visiting with us today. I work in a university with a fairly flexible schedule compared to other jobs. You are right, though, that it takes effort and some creativity to give writing the same attention as other demands on the schedule. Good for you for making it work.<br /><br />I also will admit that I'm like Deborah. I cannot read horror--can't watch it, either. The Eddie LaCrosse books sound more my speed. My productive period is very late at night into the early morning, as daytime is too distracting.
