Midsummer Release Day Giveaway!

My contribution to Llewellyn's new Sabbats series, MIDSUMMER finally released on Amazon today! And I just checked, and they're already out of stock. Good grief! I guess that means I'll have to give away one of my author copies just to tide y'all over until they can get some more. (You can also get it directly from Llewellyn or B&N or just order it from Amazon and they'll send it out when they get more.)

Luckily, I got this lovely box o'books last week.

Aren't they pretty?

[It feels like Midsummer here today, even though it is only the beginning of May. Normally it should be in the 60's and 70's with lots of rain. Instead it is bone dry and we broke major records today with a temp of 94. Yeesh.]

We're going to keep this giveaway fast and simple. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment here (not at Facebook, although you can certainly leave one there too if you want) and tell me which one of my books is your favorite. (Obviously, I'd also love it if you'd leave a review for that one, if you haven't yet, because reviews really help authors, but that's completely optional.)

If you don't think I know where to find you if you win, you can also leave your email (josephineschmo at yahoo etc.) or let me know your real name and if you're on Facebook.

Addendum: If you leave a comment as "Anonymous" you should definitely tell me your name and a contact email!

I'll pick a winner on Monday at noon.

Good luck!

  1. Toss up The Goddess is in the Details and Wickedly Magical. I think "Magical" because it was the first and got me hooked on your series. "Goddess" because it relates to making everyday count.

  4. So, trying for a second time I guess. I just bought Wickedly Wonderful today, and it's the first book of yours I've read. Your books are really hard to come by here, so there is definitely an online book buying spree in order very soon :)
In the meantime, Wickedly Wonderful would be my favourite.

    1. Good for Llewellyn, really :-) This project was what is called a "Write for Hire" contract, which means that I got paid once for the initial book and that's it. But I still love that it is so popular!

  10. Hi Deborah, I absolutely love "Everyday Witch A to Z" because Magic the cat introduces the book and answers letters addressed to him. I also love the cute illustrations of Magic peppered throughout the book. It's a fun, informative read!

  23. OMG I'm such a terrible lurker. But today's Saturday and my first day (including weekend day) in a long time I'm not busy. YAY time to actually reply to the things I read! 8D

Current favorites of yours are a toss-up between Witchcraft on a Shoestring and The Witch's Broom (w-which I need to finish reading 9,9). And I /really/ want to get Everyday Witchcraft: Making Time for Spirit in a Too-Busy World. And of course, your Baba Yaga books!

LOVE YOU! LOVE ALL YOUR POSTS! Even if I don't get to reply to them most times.

  25. I was recently introduced to you/your work through your book The Goddess Is In The Details and it made a huge impact on how I view and understand my life path now. That said, it is my favorite for various reasons. I asked to get your book Everyday Witch A to Z Spellbook as a Mother's Day gift, which I did! I'm hoping to read The Witch's Broom next. As I enjoy your work, I'm expanding my knowledge of the everyday paganism mindset. I'm looking to learn more about the Wheel of the Year and the eight Sabbats and I think your Midsummer book would be the perfect introduction to the theme in general, as well as to the Llewelyn's Sabbat Essentials series. I'm so thankful to be able to tap into your work to guide me through the everyday process of living my authentic life. Thank you for sharing your wisdom Deborah!

  31. Pick a favourite book. That's a hard one. It would be a toss up between the Witch's Broom and Wickedly Dangerous. I'm pretty sure I wrote reviews of both. :) They're all good, that's why I keep buying them. Keep the books coming!
